Best Fleet/Army Pictures- Everyone takes a picture of their best countries fleet and another one of their army, two separate categories so there are 6 winners. Everyone votes on what one they like the most. Its not about the biggest, its about who arranges and places their minis in a cool and creative way. No scratch-builds or conversions allowed to give those without the ability to make them a chance.

You're not the only one, that's for sure...
Ideas for future ones, perhaps opening up the creative ones a bit earlier, some suffered from having few entrants.
With a new set of WAS coming out next summer, we could have a fake 'booster draft' sort of tournament, with randomly generated ships to choose from, or even random assignment of three boosters worth of ships to each player, or something, it would make the WAS tourney a bit different than this year's. A scenario writing competition could be interesting too.
Also, there is a Yahoo group I think that puts out an AAM newsletter on the web, or at least used to, I think I found it through links from Axis and allies.org, how to tie this in to a competition, I don't know, but it would be cool if we had one. They run stuff like single unit reviews (possible competition) upcoming news etc.
