| Geez I wish I would have bought one of these when they were less than $100. Any plans for a reprint? |

They keep saying they are going to reprint it on the WoTC forum, but no commitment on a date.
Out of curiosity I just saw a sealed set go for $230 plus shipping on Ebay.
I was fortunate enough to get a set for x-mas last year. Great game IMO. _________________ Aaron

Not with Hasbro steering the ship! Bunch of idiots. Retailers were pretty happy with the anniversary edition since it sold pretty well. So what does Hasbro do? Kill it. They take the anniversary edition out of print and decide that they will release the current version which is no where near as comprehensive. And they did it in such a way that there were no versions of A&A in print for many months! Why not reprint the anniversary edition and at least keep it in print until you have the next version ready to go?!? _________________ Trade List at:

I was thinking about buying AA50 too but then found out that the new Pacific40 and Euro40 are to be bigger and better than AA50. Both the 40 games combine into one map, making AA50 Obselete. _________________

It looks like the AA40 Pacific retails around $90.00. I imagine the AA40 Eastern would have the same retail price.

If you already own AA50....then it is far from obsolete and plays great. _________________ Aaron

Ah, so they'll probably have a limited run of the '40s and then after that they'll show up on ebay for $500.
lol
I've learned my lesson. I'm preordering this time around. |

I can't imagine paying $100 for a board agme, let alone $230, but then again my opinion may be jaded by the fact that I don't really have anyone to play with, so my games just sit in their boxes for the most part. _________________

This from the guy that has how much plastic crack?
I initially balked at the $100 price. I just started playing A&A in Afghanistan at the MWR again last year before it came out. My parents asked if there was one special gift I wanted for x-mas and that was it.
We played 3-4 times while I was home on leave last year including with my 2 boys, my brother, my father(who never plays games), and a couple childhood friends that came over.
Even if I never play it again it was worth every penny. _________________ Aaron

I just picked up the copy I got off e-bay. It is the right box and was pleasantly surprised it was still celophane wrapped and in mint condition.
