If you want go this route.  I would suggest best of 3 to make it shorter.  Also, to have 3 members to participate because you may not be sure who is available to play at the time.  The club can decide which 3 members.

Actually, I think you are right about this...I was thinking of a secret format where you name your match #1, match #2 and match #3 players in secret then reveal both teams to see who plays who...not sure if I'm making sense or not LOL, its been a long day Smile

Makes perfect sense.  You probably just need a moderator for the playoffs and the teams can submit their line-ups and builds to the person.  Also, you probably want to play all three games at the same time to expedite the matches for that round/final.

I was thinking first 2 out of 3 wins but maybe add up the points won from all 3 matches to determine the champ.

-If 2 clubs qualify then they play for the championship
-If 3 clubs qualify then #2 plays #3 and the winner plays #1 who gets a bye in the first round
-If 4 clubs qualify then its #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3

If there are more than 4 qualifiers then only the top 4 teams playoff anyway

how does this sound?

I think you need to play all three games at once because you can lose folks waiting for the next game to play.  It was an issue with AAM Forumini Olympics.

Your idea sounds good.  Depending on game scoring you can have tie break based on best total average or play a single sudden death match with one player selected from each club who has not yet played in any of the matches.

Spot on, I was thinking the same thing about the tie break Smile

Also, clubs should select three primary players and two alternates.  Just in case if some of the original three player(s) cannot be reached.  They can then sub in for them for the next round or something.

Since Pilgrimtone is out of action for a bit, I wanted to make sure the AAM Clubs don't die.

If no one objects, or if someone else wants to do it, I will step in to run the League Table.

We need to close out Season 1.
- I have no idea how to make/post/give permission for "profile ribbons".  Can someone help with that?

We need to kick off Season 2.
- I would like to propose a change to the scoring.  Since the Clubs are to encourage more play and to have fun we should reward more participation.  To "steal" from the WAS clubs, we should award 3 League points for a Win, and 1 League point for a loss.

League Bonus Points:
- Bones37 started a thread on League Bonus Points.  We need to revitalize that.  Certain challenges that players can participate in as a club to earn extra points.  Again, the idea is to encourage more participation, and also to get clubs to work together as a team and communicate with each other.
- A few ideas:
-- The first club that has 3 members PM's the Moderator the correct answer to a challenge question gets a point
-- Each club posts a picture of a battle damaged tank.  The community at large votes and the winning club gets 2 points.
-- The club that finishes 4 online matches in a 7 day period gets a bonus point.
