Wow! Great idea!
You'll be placing those all around my ships, JJ. Bring some flame markers for yours.
They look excellent, btw. _________________ Whosoever conquers others has force.

Nice. With the way I'm rolling of late I think you need to have more than two. _________________ James 1:17

Le Frog came up with a similar idea at our LGS.
He uses white golf tees to mark which ships have fired their guns / torpedoes.
They are also quite fun when your opponent's BBs are having a bad time firing. 3 Richelieus (his) versus 2 Venetos. His shooting: 1. Miss: I put a row of golf tees in front of my BBs. 2. Miss: I put a row behind 3. Miss: I put a row in between. We were all cracking up at the bad rolling, considering they were firing against VVs. I hit 2 Richelieus in return.
Good times. _________________ I have to make a new sig because my old one is too wide for this new look... |

i have an set of 20(or nineteen i think the cat got one) and am planning on useing them as "stratle markers" for second + third turn consecutive fireing (after scoreing an damageing hit of course) granting and small spiff to future dice rolls.
i am thinking reroll ones after an stratle just me... _________________

Those look great! What did you use to make them exactly? Is that bits of cotton ball or something else? Very nice. _________________

Looking at these it made me think of a potential house rule use for them.
What about something like if your opponent gets 1 less success than requied to hit(surface gunnery only) then you are bracketed (place a marker next to the ship)
Effects of bracketing-reduce movement by one the next turn to simulate evasive manuevers.
Just a thought.
Edit: I created a thread in the WAS house rules if anyone wants to discuss this as a possible rule:
