It was a tossup between Aquarius and EK. I went with Aquarius because with this card the Japanese now have a cruiser that's almost worth what it costs. _________________ "I will not let my ship be shot from under my own ass"

Wow, only 16 votes so far and very evenly spread out. Oh wait that means everyone voted for there own and a few others voted.
Had to go with the KGV as a personal favorite.
Good Luck to all. _________________ Aaron

This is a tough contest. Gonna take another day to think on it. They're all good. Some stand out for me though...but still in contention.

The Arizona should have the same firepower as the HMS King George V. Its modernized 14/45 guns have the same firepower as British BBs's ten 14/50 guns.
If USS Arizona 's crew had been at battle-stations, and the ship'swater-tight doors & armored hatches closed the 12/7/41 bomb hit forward would have Not have set off the forward magazines. Thus the idea of rolling four 6s causing destruction is not needed & unrealistic... _________________ Darn the Torpedoes; full speed ahead!

I disagree.
The whole point of SA's is to add historical relavence to a ship, I could have used the Fatal Flaw SA that the Hood had, but as you said I dont think it was a design issue. Other Pennsylavania class BB's in my cards cost more, but are minus the SA.
Her armament is based off the USS Tennesee, where she is is listed as having a little more secondary guns, this may not make a difference (22 5in as opposed to 14).
This may not be the proper place to debate the stats (Im looking forward to ND's versions in the forouMINI), but I wanted to let you know where the numbers and SA came from |

I'm detecting a WaS bias in the polls. Makes me glad I didn't design an AAM card for this comp. _________________

This is not very practical. I've already made that mistake once, when I asked for WAS custom map. Now I'll have to do an AAM custom map competition too to be more fair with the AAM-only fans. But this, in turn, will make the olympics even more unfair for those who don't have great image editing skills. I don't think there should be two competitions on the same skill.
About this specific competition, there are 5 AAM entries and 6 WAS entries, which I think is quite balanced. _________________
