Post subject: USS Barb repaint.. sorta..
I copied Ecclesiastes work and did the water effects on some of my horribly distorted Barbs. As most have seen these things are crazy curved. To remedy this I cut the subs off the bases and re-attached them to a small piece of balsa wood. Then added the water effects then painted the water up. While they do not look anywhere as good as his, I think they came out pretty good. Next run should look better since I was trying to make a decent wash and get the whole drybrushing thing down. Enough of my rambling. Here's the pictures.

Looking very nice!! Glad it came of use to you
Tip: If you give em a light drybrush with white to pick out the waveheads it will make the water look even more realistic. _________________ "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"

Cool. I was looking at yours today and was thinking, "Man how did he get the waves to look so good!?" Now I know.
Thanks for the tip. Might go back and do that to them.
