Guys, it should be up this weekend. I will love feedback from some of you veteran scenario makers. Just know that it's coming....

Should it? Well I'm using 1939-1941 units. I don't think its technically historical but it shuold be fun,

No big deal as long as the scenario is fun to play.
For Info, France fell in 1940, then part of it joined the Axis while De Gaule's followers continued the fight from London.

Did I say say that it would'nt be fun to play? I just noticed it thats all, I don't think myself it'll matter. And maybe, since it's his first scenario, it won't have a crap load of units invovled so that some of us have a decent chance of actually getting to play it...

I'll second that. How about some scenarios that don't require me to mortgage my house to buy all the units required???!

There are plenty of scenarios here that do not require that many units.
We have the chance to have 3 pages full of it. Have a look at other forums you'll see that this is not the case everywhere.
I'm VERY happy to see a new designer join our ranks and he can count on me (and others) to help him (but i'm sure he'll come out with a cool scenario without our help).

By my count, GH, that scenario requires 33 units!!! Not exactly a "small" scenario, lol!

I agree, I don't have enough units for that one...but I think I'll try look into some eastern front scenarios instead since I actually have quite a lot of those units, but most scenarios on here seems to be about the westeren front...

Oy,well its 400pt on 500pt scenario. Lots of multiples of units. 400 points for france and 500 points for axis. PLaytest should start tonight, finish tomorrow, be up friday.
I can tell you now it uses the "how" maps for download.

Playtest is going well so far. 5 renaults really chewed up 21st Assualt Group, powerful little tanks. Being axis is proving to be difficult. The partisans got owned though.

They are the "How" set maps available for download.http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/aam/maps
you'll see it there, if you want 3" hexes print it out using the 1/2 size files. It is quite a large map.

LOL yea. I pretty much used all my early war axis pieces. But hey it aint historical and it adds a bit of flare. It was a special forces unit....what can I say,.
