Post subject: Fresno gamers?

Hi all,
I'll be serving in Fresno, CA on a Federal Jury from Mid-November to early January (lucky me). Are there any venues in that area sponsoring or hosting events? I'd rather spend my evenings gaming than watching t.v.

Yes there is an active community in fresno and it would be great to get a game on with you. Im in madera myself which is very close. But I make the drive to Fresno to game all the time.

I read through that thread before I posted here. You ever tried to actually find anything on that thread? It could be easier, like if you could actually search for a city without getting hites from every thread in the forum.
Trust me, this forum was a far better place to actually try and find someone than the designated forum will likely ever be. Sorry if you feel this thread is out of place.

Not out of place at all. I was just pointing out the existence of the thread in case you hadn't seen it yet.
I'm not quite sure I understand why you think the thread is hard to use though. Just scrolling down a bit and you get a list of 9 players in California. They may not all be in your area obviously but it's a quick place to check. No searching is required.
