Post subject: 3 never built carriers and HMS Glorious

Hey, here is my latest work, three never built carriers: Joffre, Europa, and Hindenburg. Also here is the pre-carrier Glorious converted from an extra Hood.
Glorious:
Joffre:
Europa:
Hindenburg:
I can guess what you are thinking with this one. Hindenburg was a planned H-class battleship, not a carrier. Well, I found the design for this carrier from the game NavyField and based mine off it.

nice nice
for a second i was about to go "Where is everyone getting Hindenburg frommmmm" then i realized it was just the NF CV.
(but as far as I know none of the H-class were to be named it)
anyyyyyrate, really digging the Furious, though i think you have her confused with her demi-sisters Coregeous and Glorious.
Furious had 2 - 18in singe turrets (but was never completed with both)
C and G had the 2 - 15in
That'll mess up whatever it hits
She was only ever fitted with the sten mount, her forward portion being given a flight deck, making her a hybrid warship.
The turrets were used at a range of 36k too by a monitor, none the less. So maybe UK gets an ER5 warship, lol |

Very cool.
What hulls did you use for them? I am curious!! I want to make a Europa one of these days.
Nice work!! You are getting the hang of this very quick!! _________________ Take a peek at my tradelist:

Although it would mess up anything it hits, it would mess her up too as her displacement and design was insufficient to fire 18" shells. Hence removal of one of the guns, then later a full conversion _________________

Thanks guys, and Ren for the correction.
The toughest conversion to do would have to have been the Joffre, due to its odd deck placement.

Thanks, for Europa I used a Graf Zeppelin, for Joffre I used a Jean Bart, and for Hindenburg I used an Akagi.
Glorious: Shortened Hood, cut off two barbettes, cut a smoke stack, and moved the tower onto the bridge, the original control top now resides on my Hermes.
Also, you may have noticed a difference in my pictures than the ones I have taken before. Just got a new camera, need to configure the white balance and macro setting. _________________

Glorious:
2 Flower class corvettes provide escort.
I still gotta fill in the gaps, and apply paint where needed. _________________
