While the rules defining brush vary little from Forest other than its effect on vehicle movement it seems to me it needs a bit of revision. It states in the description it is scrub brush and scattered small trees. While I agree this would block Los if units are all on level ground I disagree in regards to units on elevated positions i.e. hills. Units on a hill should be able to treat brush as clear terrain for Los purposes, thus units in brush could also have Los to units on hills. This would make the high ground on Jungle maps highly valuable and seems more realistic. Everyones opinion _________________ Victory is for those willing to take it! |

LOS rules are simply simple. If you want to adjust LOS for elevation, use a house rule. LOS can get very complicated, very fast. I could spend 15 minutes just figuring the LOS for one hill shot back in my ASL days. I like the simple rules with the occasional adjustment for specific scenarios. _________________ Proud collector of "Battle Barbies" |
