Up to know it is, IMO, the most effective Tactical game I have seen... better than ASL, because it does not bring excessive rules into play and rely on fast action/reaction.
I was like you about the 2D, but whenever a mechanics so well integrated and intelligent caught you, you have to stick to it.
I will certainly add the 3D in a week or so, count on me. _________________ Remember-OWS-

ya, I just got this game about 2 weeks ago after reading the review from a forum member. It looks great and I was going to use v.1 AAM minis on top of the counters for a more 3d feel.
I haven't played it yet but seems everyone likes it, hopefully someone in my area is willing to take it up.
If you find a way to have an online game I'm interested in testing it out. _________________

Even the V1 vehicle are too big, that is a shame. I will have to open well classified boxes to find my GHQ mini back from the late '80 when I was playing ASL Deluxe. _________________ Remember-OWS-

Like I said for this game, almost nothing as to be done to accommodate miniatures... but take a look at what I found for the Author:

So, this is a game that will change to way Mini's are played.
I am fascinated by the rules.
It is really fluid. _________________ Remember-OWS-

Not really, people have been adapting board and bookcase games to minis for years. I've got a panzer leader/panzer blitz set-up rigged for 10mm with a bigger map. _________________

I've been doing that with other games too, but what is really interesting is seeing the designer adapting at this moment his game... It was in the process I guess, because plastic/pewter is attracting on a table.
What I was saying, more precisely, is that the game mechanics will be fun to play, more than AAM IMHO, with all the simple, but effective, rules implemented in COH (the Card for the fog of war, the Hidden hit counter). _________________ Remember-OWS-
