Post subject: What to do with those reprints of the Kubelwagon V
|
|
|
So, I found this picture in the Signal Corps photos located in the United States National Archives, and thought it would be a good way to use up some of those extra Kubelwagons. The caption on the back reads:
"Four yanks examine the German 'jeep' thought to be civilian 'VOLSWAGON,' now captured and used by the Allies whenever possible. Looking over this model are: Pvt. John Williams, Johnstown, NY; PFC. Sol Suppa, NJ; PFC. John Stassozyk, Brooklyn, NY; and Sgt. J. M. Fernandez, Newark, NJ. La Haye Du Puits, France."

I'm saving them for Set XXII, when they introduce Bulgarians. Of course, by then the scale will have changed.

I don't know which is funnier (or more ironic), "Set XXII" or ". . . by then the scale will have changed."
Well played. |

I am thinking of turning one Kubel into the version with the hardtop on and putting a windshield on it, proper windshield and some crew inside.
That is if I will receive more Kubelw. _________________ Custom AAM Maps & Counters here

Well - I would like to put them in a box and send them back to WotC and ask for some real AAM pieces. I'll even pitch in the cards.
