Not a popular scale in the states, too many are soft plastic which is a pain to work with. It can be stunning when you take the time though, and is REALLY cheap. Lovingly ripped from WD3.

Very cool!  The hobby lobby by us has some 1/72 stuf ACW, Revolution and Alamo I think.  I have looked, but never bought.

This site is essential. there are some kits that are poor rip offs. and some with very few models in it.

Yeah. I usually go Zvezda or Italeri, they're a little bigger than the average run, but work well together. I have all their boxed army games. HAT is hit and miss, and you should avoid Red Box like the plague! PSR is the best info site out there, no doubt.
