It's a special ability that allows you to throw all your kubelwagons and motorcycle-halftracks at your oponent...aim for the head!

|
Bombardment is a great SA, it allows you to shoot at a target and even if the target is in cover, they get no cover roll. It really comes in handy when you are attacking a sniper, because it negates the camouflage and superior camouflage ability.

I disagree with rowsdower last sentence. You can`t even aim at the sniper because of the camouflage ability. Only if you are adjective to him (if he have cover).
The rest is right. You use the abillity if your tank have it on it statcard and with every single shot.

Its a bit more complicated.
If your sniper is in the same hex as another of your units, that other unit could be the target and if your unit combiines Blast, Rocket salvo - or the like with bombardment the Sinper will be attacked too.

Yes thats right. But that another ability which has nothing to do with bombardment (with the exclusion that they are combinated most time).
The Sniper is attacked too without bombardment....

Blast - Allows you to attack each unit in the hex seperately
Bombardment- This attack ignores cover.
You cannot target a Sniper in a hex at long range with this attack. However if the Sniper is in the same hex as a unit that can be attacked, then you get to attack the sniper as well if you have the blast ability as well. Bombardment by itself cannot target a sniper even if there is a second unit in the same hex...it cant see the sniper, only the other unit.
