Post subject: HMS Repulse and HMS Ark Royal

i had some luck with this build this weekened defeating a KM and RM forces
but ultimately loosing to a KM(Scharnhorst/Graf Zep) build, badly i should
say 
100pts: 1941 <- 2nd Edit
1x HMS Repulse
1x HMS Ark Royal
1x Martlet
2x Sea Hurricane
2x Swordfish
1x HMS Javelin
i always maintained atleast two fighters(1 Martlet and 1 Hurricane) and
one torpedo bomber on the AC HMS Ark Royal, HMS Repulse and HMS
Javelin were always escorting each other, i mainly used the Swordfish's
as sub hunters while the HMS Repulse with aircover was my main
weapon against enemy battleships and bombers
2-1 record aint bad for me 
Edit: on a side note, i play tested the long range rules and i got to say i love
them, my torpedo bombers actually have a chance to make it through
to the German and Italian ships especially if they are escorted

Doesn't look too bad to me. Without TD, it's good that you have the Javelin and a few swordfish along to keep the enemy subs at bay. Good call there. Also, the smoke will come in handy if you face a much larger BB opponent (which is the main concern of most builds). So not bad, you've got most of the bases covered, it's just that like most builds you'll have to beware anything like Tirpitz or larger.

I agree. Bismarck-Scharnhorst-Z20 (99 pts) creams this build.
