Post subject: A few British Custom cards - Opinions welcomed
|
|
|
Once again I would like to express my gratitude towards the members of this forum and more specifically the members of The Black Night Group for their obvious amount of work they have put in to make A&A miniatures a more in depth event.
I am posting a small offering of some of the custom cards my group uses within or campaign. This is a small offering, in the hopes that I am "paying back" for the invaluable amount of resources and musings that I have been able to utilize from this forum.
Though our house rules are different from other groups the "nuts and bolts" of our game uses the rules supplied by A&A. Our campaign takes about a year on two week turns (real-time). I would say our campaign looks similar to a Risk - Diplomacy mix in that it's purpose is world domination and each nation stands alone, but with the ability of players to use the same nationality units. Example: 2 people can be the Germans or everyone can. The game is played with 100, 135, or 150 armies with a few bonuses available. I say this with the meaning, that if any members sees a hole or too powerful of an ability in the custom card I would appreciate feedback, as these cards are meant to be used against present A&A minis available.
These are 2 proposed cards for our Version4 campaign. We use about 100 custom cards and are proposing 30 - 40 for the nexst campaign. WaS included.

I wish I could just have the picture within the thread, but my computer skills are lacking and I am more of an ideas guy. The cards are created by a member of my group. |

Card quality is excellent. I'd love to see the rest of your cards. I do think the Med Officer is too expensive since he can't use his ability while Disrupted (including on himself) and has little value otherwise.

| thanks for the feedback and I will try to post some more customs over the weekend. I will start with the Japanese, as we tried to make them able to stand against any other nations army in any terrain, but using historical fact as a base. |

Cool card format. The sizing is odd...at least on my screen.
I like the SAS and Commando cards. But the need something else. Something like Harden Vet like the Fallschirmjager has where they can reroll one die and move while disrupted.
Also the dice should be closer to a Paratroopers... 9 and 7.
For No 40 Commando, give them the Spotter SA too!
Very cool work.
