Okay, this isn't so much a "rules clarification" as a "rules justification," but I feel the need for some kind of explanation of this.

Why does the 88 have Extended Range 20, which only works against Vehicles (which doesn't include Aircraft), while the M12 GMC gets Enhanced Range 16, which works against Vehicles and Soldiers (which would include Aircraft were it not for the 'Bombardment' SA)?

I mean, surely a friggin 8.8cm Flugabwehrkanone could lob a shot at an airplane 2000 metres in the sky with, say, 6 dice hitting on 4+!  I'm not sure I get it.

lol

In all seriousness, once Gleemax is back up you might ping WOTC_Mons and WOTC_Huscarl and ask why a unit purpose built as AA but found to be useful as AT's mini counterpart cannot perform its primary design function?

I have a feeling shooting at a plane over 1 horizantal mile way would be difficult. Too hard to hit.

As with the M12 though it is a mobile howitzer thus it has enhanced range allowing it shoot at infantry and vehicles.

Hey, a .50 Browning has that kinda reach, and the 88's were creating risk at a vertical of 40,000' IIRC...
