Hi guys!

Well...

I love that part of the War. In 1982, my History Teacher of the moment, had so many interest in WWII, that he gave me the "Tilt" about that period of our human life.

He began in '39 (obviously) but took a longer part (full day) about the North African campaign. So I guess I was hook at that time for the rest of my life.

I guess not many of you can read French.
But, I suggest you take some course... joking!  Rolling Eyes

The next Gif's are in French, by me about the tournament I am building for the Carta Magica Store located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This Store was acclaim but WOTC for the Highest participation in a AAM tournament (I am proud of it, honestly, I will not hide or be shy).
Before the Reserve Set we had always, 12 or more players at the store, culminating on a recored of 22 for the DD Sealed tournament in July 2006.
Since the 39-45 release, a drop of player occurred. I was not able to bring back more that 10 players since... but still, it's fun to have them around. Some became friends, other "FOW'S"  Twisted Evil

So here it is:

Ask for translation if you ain't able to understand what is written:

That is the basic of the game:

Over here you can see that I'm tweaking the game to let the German and Italian force be a better adversary (they lack the real punch if not)

The Gif of the DAK is simple to understand:

Gruppen A and Gruppen B are the choice of your Add-on.

You can chose from:

    Transport & Observer
    Transport & Artillery
    Transport & Assault

    Luftwaffe
    Prototype 1942

The Gif of the Ariete is as simple:

Gruppo A and Gruppo B are the choice of the Italian Add-On

    Transport & Commander
    Transport & Artillery
    Transport & Assault

    Squadre Aerea
    Prototype 1942

You are reading my mind and my view in the future.

I want to make a merge between what's best in each...

I even done some Organigram with Pictures and Drawing...
That really looked like FOW, too much I guess, even if I had put some personal flavour.

Take a look at my latest update

Nice. That is part of what I liked about the platoon cards, It give your army some organization.

(Speaking of witch, is Flame of War available somewhere in the Montreal area, preferably in the northern ridge? The few I have, I bought them last summer when I was at Gagetown, NB. I tried the store locater on their website and the closest one is in Ontario)

At the Carta Magica Store

6360 St-Hubert (métro Beaubien)
Montreal, Qc H2S 2M2
514-286-9099

You can find all the books and many units. They will also display my few FOW painted units I made lately. They will also be posted on the board in a week of so when they'll be in satisfactory state.

The Manager, name Eric, can order within 4 open days, what ever you like.

Hi, I would like to know, if i start from the 3 first hexes of each edge side.
-15 miniatures exactly, no ammo, no barbed w. no mines...
-Objective of allied: Destroy 80 poinst of german units

-Maximum 2 planes for axis player, it includes bonus.
-2 special units (partizans, hero, paratrooper)
-What happens if allied and axis win theirs objectives, more than 80 and 60 points of destroyed units in turn 6?

Wow, you dig for this one.

It was a success at the time.

To make is simple

Construct type: 125 pts / 15 units max
End time: Turn 6 (limited to 50 minutes) In 3 round (If you play the game in a tournament)

If you intend to play as a tournament, each player is ask to bring of Axe battalion and one allied battalion. Each turn a dice is trow to see what side you will play. The higher is always axe.

Objectives:

Axe = 60 pts (of destroyed allied units)
Allies = 80 pts (of destroyed axes units)

Restrictions

Allies: 1 Commander Max
Allies: 2 planes Max

Axes: 3 planes Max

Special rules:

Axes
Initiative +1 (each turn)
At no additional cost you can add:
Chose 1 set in Group A
Chose 1 set in Group B

There is no restriction on barb wire or mines, nor ammo dumb or headquarters.
Maximum of planes is also limited by the no cost additional group.
Maximum of special units is also implemented.

Bartok, made up scenario for AAM, whenever a player meets the requirement for a win, he is declare the winner at the end of the present turn, even if your not at turn 6. [/b]

right........
Start:3 hexes from each side, we play the large side,10 hexes from East to West, we don´t use half hexes.
Can use support and obstacles.
No limit for specials units (hero and paras). If you don´t use it(are out of the map), you don´t give points to your opponent, but you dont´t have firepower….

but.......
With the revised cards, Semo 90 comes in 1943 (1942 before revision), can I use it like “Prototype 1942”?
2 overwatch and all expanded rules, new stacking limit?
If both players gains points of objective in same turn?, maybe probably……..

In your first part, you should limit the usage of Special units. They will broke, for each side, the streamline of the game.

For map usage, you should use the small side for starting. It will give a edge for the Dak or Ariete division because mobility is an important factor in the desert.

The revise card is honestly bad on the enter date of service. In November 1942  four Somevente 90/53 were lost during a fight with the Australian. Since it's a scenario game, you can manage to overrule the card revision.
Expended rules seems to be abandoned for now. It's your choice, I've always liked them. Staking limit is fine with me, either way.
For gaining objective point, if equality exist at the end of one turn, at the time, we were using the "In Order" units.
If a unit is damage, one point less for each. If equality persist then -1 for each disrupt unit. Equality should not stand at this point.

right, cause you say "Maximum of special units is also implemented" i think is ilimited, but if you say that "you should limit the usage of Special units", Definitively the limit is 2, isn´t it?
When i play the game i´ll put here the results. Thanks for all.
