Post subject: [United States 1941] F4F-3 Wildcat
At the beginning of the war, the F4F Wildcat was the best carrier-borne fighter of the Americans. Although it didn't have the range of the Japanese Zero, whenever the two met, it fought as equal.
The Wildcats are quite sturdy and can withstand a lot of damage. This is their principal advantage over their natural opponents, the Japanese Navy's Zeros.
