Here is the first of (hopefully) many submissions of my formations. This is the first page that I have revised based on the newly published official stat cards. I wanted to get something up ASAP.

Let me esplain. No, let me sum up:

The basic system is based on units costing multiples of 25. This was Der Leiter's system. At the beginning of a battle the players decide the total points and what percentage would/could be what type. Of course this is all up to the players. I myself don't advocate any number of points or how they should be allocated.

Based on historically correct TO&E's from the midwar period I've assigned units to replicate formations that cost multiples of 25. Many units are a slight bargain, some are not. And to keep units within the 25 point cost scheme some formations don't actually have the correct number of units. For instance- the US mmg platoon actually had 4 mg's.
Keep in mind that this work is subjective. If you wish to change it, feel free!

Let me know if you like them. If I get some response I will continue to post my work. Also, I've converted my Power Point pages to jpegs for posting here. If you would like the original Power Point files just pm me and ask.

The Ranger Batt has been adjusted to reflect the Bayonet Strength resource. You see, Der Leiter created his formations long before alot of units were released in subsequent sets.
The Paratroop Batt should have 2 MG sections of 4 guns each but they would be the same as the Inf Batt mg platoons. So if you want 'em, use 'em. I decided to just put some guns in the HQ platoons. I warned this process was subjective!
Some might say that I am straying from authenticity but, my goal is to create formations based on reality that work within the framework of the game.

Okay, here're some Germans to fight. To create all the incarnations of the German Inf Batt over the war years would require at least three different pages. Plus, there is no MG34 in the game.
In actuality the Germans did assign the mg's from the mg platoon directly to the squad level. So, each platoon has an mg. Some of the platoons may be more expensive than the sum of its parts but I think that is offset by the power of those MG42's. Der Leiter created the Veteran Platoon and I liked it as a way of getting to use the Veteran Infantry so I kept it.
The Mortar Platoon is a real bargain at 75 pts!
Please comment in the other thread in the General thread.

4th Med Tank Co: 8x Type 89 Chi-Ro, 2x Type 94 tankettes; the company CO's platoon had 2 each of Chi-Ros and Type 94 tankettes, while the other two platoons each has 3 Chi-Ros
