French vehicle:
Citroen-Kegresse P19 voiture de Dragons Portés (half track)
Description: 2 ton 6 cylinder halftrack devloped in 1932 for use by motorized infantry units. Carried 7 men (typically 1 driver, 1 Lebel Grenadier, 4 Mas 7.5 riflemen, 1 FM light machine gunner)
Operational history: Used by the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 14th, and 15th Regiments Dragons Portés (motorized dragoon regiments) assigned to to Divisions Léger de Cavalerie (light cavalry regiments) 3, 2, 1, 4, and 5, respectively, in the May/June 1940 campaign. Superseded in other units by the higher capacity Lorraine 28 (4 x 6) or Laffly S20TL. [Post by David Lehmann, 1.28.05, on http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82928]
defense: 2/2? (apparently no armor)
armament: none, except anti-aircraft machine guns which were mounted on the vehicle "for protection during travel" (?).
speed: 46 kph max.
Special abilities:
Limited fighting platform: A Soldier carried by this unit can attack during its assault phase if this unit doesn't move during that phase.
Transport: This unit can carry two Soldiers [at 1 figure = 1 fireteam or 1/2 squad]. A friendly Soldier can board or dismount this unit instead of moving during its movement phase. Cavalry and Artillery may not board.
Towed artillery: This unit may begin the game towing an artillery unit of 75mm or smaller. The artillery unit may unload during the assault phase if this unit does not move or attack.

Should this unit be able to carry 2 soldiers and tow a gun at the same time? _________________ HHRgamer |
