Designed under similar principles, the Ki43 was the Japanese army's counterpart of the navy's zero (A6M). It was an incredibly manoeuvrable but quite slow army fighter with a maximum speed of only 440km/h at sea level and 500km/h at 4000m. It was the mount of most Japanese aces and enjoyed considerable successes at the beginning of the Pacific War, but became obsolete rather quickly. Still, with continuous improvements the Ki43 was used throughout the whole of the war. The allies were calling it "Oscar" in the Pacific and "Jim" in southeast Asia.
The model represented by this card is the Ki43Ic that has only two 12.7mm machine guns. So, you'll need to use its superior manoeuvrability to stay behind the enemy and attack several times to do any damage. Learn how to use the extreme manoeuvrability, low min speed and very low turning evasion to force the enemy to slow down and fly your way.

interesting
you can use a similar special ability for the Russian POLIKARPOV PO-2 BI-PLANE
It was a bi-wing trainer converted into a fighter.
the NIGHT WITCHES (female pilots) were the well know pilots of this plane, Bruce Myles book Night Witches describes that the pilots had to use the Superior turning ability to compensate the lack of speed and fire power the Me-109s had. _________________ Always Flying. Always Fighting. RIP JIMMY.

I know the Po-2, but I had the I-153 in mind. We'll see. _________________

In this case it means that it's certainly not high priority and won't be made before other more useful ones, but if the project continues sufficiently it will be done, as I enjoy making such cards. _________________
