So I really like this roma pic, it needs to be cropped closer to standard signature sizes and the background is a tad washed out not sure if you guys can do anything with that.

Thinking pretty Mediterranean tones maybe a little Italian plug in the corner (simple swath of flag) Don't want the flag to compromise the ship as thats the sticking point. Come to think of it, thats kind of what I got in mind in general, subtle yet appealing.

If you don't like the size of the flag, I can change it. _________________

Went and snagged source material for a Mediterranean color palette,
Then while poking around italian color schemes I saw this come up,
while it is probably not entirely accurate and on the Caio not a Vittorio class, I like it and you were pretty spot on with the blue!
Any hope getting the shorline behind the ship across the image and in a slightly more earthen tone while getting a little more barrel definition on that rear turret? I'm happy with the flag and I appreciate you dropping the pc from my screename as well.

I tried to integrate the colours from the photo that you suggested, but it proved way beyond my capabilities. Maybe one of our professional graphic artists could try it. _________________

not my best work by any means, buy here's a quick idea. (there was just so little information to work with in the picture, I went the cowards way and created my own scenery.

That might be the way to go, its obvious the image was exposed to get the camo of the ship which seems to have washed out everything else. The artificial terrain looks good, if the ship can be cleaned up a bit more looks like something i'd be proud to sport at the bottom of my threads.
Thanks, and sorry for the lateness temporarily loss of network and resorting to library visits. |
