| The battle of Vella Gulf involved six American destroyers (Dunlap, Craven, Maury, Lang, Sterett, and Stack) and four Japanese DDs (Hagikaze, Arashi, Kawakaze, and Shigure). It was a resounding victory for the U.S. with three Japanese destroyers sunk to no America losses. This was one of three occasions during the war when Shigure was the sole survivor of an otherwise annihilated force. |

Okie, I've been working on analyzing the various force-breakdowns for those battles. I'll see if I can wrap one up in a week... (bear in mind, I don't have substitutes for "not-yet" units, though) _________________ <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

BE: So do I, but thanks--I have all the NavWeaps OOB pages copied to hard-drive. It's actually just a matter of rearranging the data--my initial notes were "everything at once", now I'm breaking 'em down into forces for multiplayer fights, say each player gets a battleship division or destroyer flotilla... _________________ <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Thank you. Would like to include airfields and other structures, as objective markers and the such. But time seems to slip away. _________________
