I've been watching with interest the bidding on a Historic Battlefronts Stalingrad map. The seller is Canadian, and the map includes the original CD-ROM. Quite a find. This is the first time I had heard that the original maps came with a CD of scenarios.
It's at about $30 USD now with about 10 hours to go.

When I looked at the bid history, I can't understand why so many experienced ebayers would bid something by a few dollars at a time when they can simply bid the price they are willing to pay. Even if your high bid is $20 more than the current bid, ebay will only count your bid one dollar more than the previous high bid. Boggles my mind.

Nice map all the same.

Nice find but I don't really like the maps.  In general the HBF maps had hexes but did not have the maps play true to the hexes.  Terrain does not always follow the hex rules.  Case in  point in the photo is a railway.  Looks good but sometimes it runs across the hex middle and sometimes in the hex edge.  If you had a road or a wall like that you would not be able to follow hex based terrain rules.

I never saw the CD ROM or what is on it though I was aware it was available

I already asked the seller, and that was the only A&A item he owned. I should have asked him how he got it...

I have  a copy of this map and CD.  It contains about 10 pdf scenarios for use with the map  and pdf copies of the aam rulebook and hhr card revisions at the time (2006).  If anyone is interested in the scenarios let me know, I have them in a zip file that is about 30MB.
