This is Warspite in FUD from Tiny Thingamajigs.  I was trying to replicate this camo/paint job:

Let me know how I did!

Thanks for looking!

Pretty darn well if I'm any judge. I wish I could justify spending the money on FUD...

Pretty well done. I also have a WSF HMS Warspite getting painted.

That's really nice.  Now, I feel pressure to do a better job with my Shapeways models.  Are the acrylic bases still available from some supplier?  I thought yours looked different than the GF9 bases.  Thanks for sharing.

The bases are made by forum member Reacher. He has a thread in the Marketplace

Awesome job!  The WOTC Warspite mini was always just so-so (tiny turrets).  This looks way nicer and your great paint job makes it even better.

Now, if we just had a Warspite card that would see the table more.  In the good-ol'-days, Warspite's Long Shot 6 was a thing.  Now, the lack of Torpedo Defense or Torpedo Protection makes it a bit obsolete, which is a huge shame.  I miss seeing Warspite on the gaming table.

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone!

SWO_Daddy, I couldn't agree more.  I've been forcing myself to play with units even when they aren't "optimal".  It's been a bit frustrating at times (my main opponent only collects the IJN for his Axis squad) as long lances tear into the side of these unprotected BBs...sigh.

Cheers,

Grg
