Would that be with or without clusters sir?
My Italians don't get to get their feet wet all that often either. I really only have one opponent who's willing to play the UK so... It's just like in WW2, stuck in port!

As for your fingers, welcome to the club. I got my thumb a few years back and will always have the scar, and the numbness. |
Aye MrKen he has. Ye are correct on the quality of his work. Like you both and many others who venture into the kit bashin or scratch building arena, I too have scars a plenty to attest to my oft made errors in the using of a very sharp object.
I propose that within this grand community that we create a special award or badge if you will, for those of us who've sacrificed portions of digits, shed our blood or otherwise sustained some injury in the pursuit of creating our works of artistic expression.
I propose that it be called, "The order of the Purple Digit" It should be in the shape of an oblong disk with a blood red back ground and a finger wrapped in a bandage imposed upon it. The digit itself would bear the colour of a royal purple with a white bandage wrapped partially at the tip.
What say you to this proposition?
Cmdr, ND, Celt, et al?
& if some enterprising member of this learned forum would like to submit their design ideas...
Now Cmdr I understand that your most unfortunate "accident" had nothing to do with the actual construction of this fine example of your skills. I do believe that at some time in your past or more recent past, that you too have made a blood sacrifice to the modeling Gods. Primarily in your case the Dremel God, or possibly the Exacto Blade Gods.
Therefore you would most assuradly be eligible for awards and possible multiple blood clot clusters.

Hahahaahaaa! You're a bloody riot man!
And you're right! My poor left index finger alone has earned a Purple Digit with clusters like haemorroids! I've bashed it, cut it repeatedly... Part of the nail is missing, numbness, scars, crosswired nerves... ayayay |
Your humble student apprentice is happy that his sensai has found humor in his most unworthy apprentice... |
Aww, jeeez You truly are mad, aren't you?
BTW, I think I'll photoshop a PD for us |
As usual my most talented Sensai has demonstrated his never ending talents.
The PD looks perfect! May your most unworthy student apprentice of the dremel art have one with 3 clusters please?
Yes Master Sensai I am Mad! Mad as a Hatter loose in the felt factory.

I think it is only fair that we standardise the OPD so that there is only one level above the single gashing. Otherwise we may have to send agents to verify the stories and Dog knows what
Oh, and I included the Prozac in your avatar so that you don't lose it again _________________

Yet another Dremel Apprentice oh mighty Sensai! My guess is the ship, but he probably needs the digit also. _________________ The SCA: Just an excuse for getting dressed up in Medieval clothing and beat each other up with padded sticks! |

"laying prostrate facing his Dremel Ninja Master Sensai" Your most unworthy and humble apprentice thanks you oh talented master. I shall endeavour to not lose track of your most forgetful apprentice's Prozac again. Thank you for allowing me to keep my head.

I shall correct my misspelling fingers appropriately my Sensei.
BTW. I have begun construction of a US LST w/Accompanied LCT and LCVPs.
The post should show up soon. My next project is a US FLeet Oiler and a Converted DD to Fast Troop Transport. _________________ The SCA: Just an excuse for getting dressed up in Medieval clothing and beat each other up with padded sticks! |

It is done Sensei, and the offending misspelling digits have been duly punished. _________________ The SCA: Just an excuse for getting dressed up in Medieval clothing and beat each other up with padded sticks! |

How does the hull compare to the new Guilio Cesare? After reconstruction the ships were within 2' OA length with Caio Duilio longer.
The greatest compliment I can give is that if you taking comissions I'll take 2. _________________ Amatures study tactics, rank amatures study strategy, professionals study wargames.

I'd say that my Duilio is roughly 3-4 mm longer than Cesare... Not too far off.
Sorry to say that I don't do commissions. There is simply not enough time... Thanks for the comment though _________________
