Post subject: Looking for 500 pt simihistorical match's. Reply with quote
Rule's follow:

1. No more then 160 pt's BB and No less then 2 BB's.
2. no more then 1, Richelieu, Tirpitz, Missouri, Mushashi.
3. All CV in class used before duplication.
4. Germans & Italions may use 2 Graf Zeppelins, Aquila's to keep them competitive.
5. French may be used by either Axis or Allies.
6. French must use they're BB's and at lest 4 each of they're own CA/CL's and DD/DE's.
7. At least 4 CA/CL's must be used.
8. At least 4 DD/DE's must be used.
9. No more then 5 Sub's except for Italian's who may use up to 10 as they are 1 hit wonder's.

The above rule's are to cut down on "chessy" build's and make all Nation's competitive.

ok, i have my fleet, and we have been playing so long that i will disclose it now.  all that i ask is that if the japanese have a smoke layer, substitute it for an akitsuki.

DD's:  4 Akitsuki's, 40 pts
CA's:  Tone, 2 Nachi's, Yahagi  75 pts

           3 Judy's  36   pts
           6 7 pt zekes   42 pts
           1 Betty   6 pts
           1 Kamekaze  3  pts

If you drop the Betty and the kamekaze and replace the 4 Akitsuki's with 4 Shigure's at 12 pt's each then you come up with 500 pt's.
Shigure's are:
Main's 4, 4, 3
AA 5
Asw 4
Torp's 3, 3, 2, 1 ( LL )
Armor 2
Vital 7
Hull 2
Lucky escape: When this unit would be hit by a torpedo attack from an enemy Destroyer or torpedoboat, roll a die. On a 4 or higher, the attackmisses instead.
Lay smoke screen:

I chose side and setup first and move first.

Hull 4
Extended range 4
Fighter director - once per turn, you may chose a friendly fighter within range 3 that aborted or destroyed an enemy aircraft this turn. That fighter may move to a sector it's adjacient to that contain's an enemy aircraft and make an antiair attack with a -1 on each attack die against that aircraft.

and important side note the new zeke had no escort ability its better to have at least some old 6 point zekes for escort duty.

darn, i did not know that!  okie, can i trade my 6 seven pt zekes for 7 six pt zekes  both are 42.  it would be better to have a mix but this is simpler
