"Red Army" forces interrupt the Beer Hall Putsch (Munich Putsch)november 1923
estimated time of arrival : 12 o´clock November the 9th 1923
estimated location : "Ludwigsbrücke", eastern bridgehead,
Face direction Haidhausen , Munich
The nazi- rebels had left the beer-hall "Bürgerbrau-Keller"and marched
on the "Rosenheimer Strasse " and just start to cross the bridge over the river Isar named "Ludwigsbrücke" final destination Bavarian Defence Ministry.
Suddenly a heavy vehicle barely looks a like an WW1 tank leap into view of the marching rebels.
Leaded by the well known WW1 General Ludendorff and Adolf Hitler the rebels are indecisive what to do now and stopped on the eastern bridgehead.
The map shows the situation at the moment as the Red Army opens fire:

General Ludendorf first recognize the unknown Tank with mounted troops on it as Sowjet communist forces and realized that his combatants stand in front of their heavy armed political antagonists without any cover.
In the same second the fanatical sniper targets at Adolf Hitler and hit him twice, the first bullet penetrated Hitlers left eye and brain, the second bullet penetrated the left part of the lung.
Courageous rebels try to cover their remaining leaders by throwing themselves between the line of fire even in fear of the own death.
Bavarian riot police located at the western bridgehead at that time hear the shoots too and try to intervene but the mortar crew burst out some shoots in the direction of the riot police to keep
them away properly.
The Flagbearer rises the big red banner with the Hammer and Sickle right above the Tank turret and get severely wounded by the concentrated fire from the approaching riot police. The Cossack Captain orders the Maxim MG crew to set defense fire without killing the policemen.
SMG troopers shoot right over the heads of the remaining rebels in front of them to force retreat. During retreat the rebels dig out paving stones and throw them against their enemys and get backup from spectators and tenants around the place.
The tank commander accidentally fire one HE shell direct in front of the
rebels and cause severely injured on both sides and the final death of the wounded General Ludendorff .
A Tram-driver and his passengers push their empty streetcar towards the rebels with the purpose to rescue and dragging them out of the direct combat zone with supporting fire from the service weapons of two policemen who was alerted from citizens nearby.
The Commissar dismiss the tank commander and give the order
to turn the tank 90 degrees for broader cover against the fury inflamed
riot police that gather for reinforcements and close the range across the bridge.
Before getting in real trouble the reds disappear as quick as they arrive.
Now the riot police could take first aid and calm down the citizens that remains enraged. Personal data are collected from everybody who are involved.
Emergency doctors could only pronounce Hitler and Ludendorff dead but rescue a lot of other rebels.
Stern police questioning are hold in the next few days with every eyewitness to gather any available information and high rewards are promised for references that let capture one of those bloody reds.
Influence on short term History
The Ambassador of the Sowjet-Union ensure all help he could give in this case and express condolence but was banished by the German government.
The communist party was dislodged by coup from conservative politician and remains of the white army at spring 1924.
All leaders especially Stalin,Rykow and Kalinin set on lifetime imprisonment in a penal camp on Nowaja Semlja.
Free elections for all citizens of the Sowjet-Union are hold on summer 1924 under supervision of strong European armed forces.
The new elected parliament proclaims the
"Free and Independ Republic of Russia" at November the 2nd 1924
All over the world governments introduce a bill that forbid all communist partys including the Russian Republic.
Influence on long term History
After almost a decade the new Russian Republic was diplomatic accepted by the complete world. Economic growth after the big depression 1929 and a reinforced education for all gives access for a stable administration and safe places for foreign investors.
No world War 2 ever happens because the last act of the Versailles treaty was signed in 1938.
The Olympic summer games in Moscow 1940 show the prosperity and healthiness of a young but strong industrial Nation.
Sergej Koroljow and other european scientist as like Wernher von Braun and Herrmann Oberth founded the European Space Agency in 1942 with
the target landing on the Moon until 1960.
On october the 4th 1957 a spacecraft lands on the moon and the crew
erected a dozen flagpoles that bears the Russian Flag and other participating European nations as like France, Germany,Italy,United Kingdom,Poland,Spain,Hungary and other.

Ummm, not to nitpick, but is The_Lucky_y's entry applicable? I thought we had to have our forces show up at a great defeat for our nation?

I get that, but what I'm saying is that it doesn't fall under the original intent for the challenge. What you're dealing with wasn't a defeat for the Soviet Union, it was a defeat for the Wiemar Republic.

Ok the its an attempt to kill two birds with one stone and remember that
I never play AAM or have wide knowledge about Russian history.
