I see now "thier" site is down again, and its been down for a few days now. Is it "officially" dead now?

I have been checking in on the other ("official") site, and it is dead, dead, dead, since thye went down for a week or so for changes. I mean, it is even slower than the A&A board game site. Days go by without one single post or even any views in any of the AAM threds. I dont even see any point in posting my pics over there anymore.

I think Wizards should just bite the bullet, and print the web address of THIS site on the bottom edge of thier boosters.

| Last night I checked the trade thread over there and it is all but dead, our trade thread has been rocking with the new W@S set released...what does it say...I know when I finish with an issue I have over there in a week or two I will not be going back again. It is slow, terribly designed and it is dying...no surprises there... |

One must remember, WotC combines the interests of all their games into one community. Here we combine all the interests of the dry side and the wet side of AAM. Here we have community, there they have... well, I guess they have nothing.
Aren't they the people who every so often close up shop so that they can upgrade or fix their site? That should be done while the old site is still up and running. Every time they do that they loose a great deal of traffic. They need someone who can give them advice on how to run their site, but WotC never took any good advice on purpose I think. One never gives their readers a reason to find someone else who might be better. Wizards has perfected the ineptitude skill, in web commerce and in running games into the ground. It's like a bunch of five year olds run that place.

| True...maybe we should just send out a scouting party once a day to see what they can find...remember to leave a trail of crumbs and tie a rope around thier waist to make sure we can pull them back if they encounter trouble... |

IMHO we should produce some activity there...
if we don't I fear they somedays will decide all is dead and we will loose the (few) benefits coming from there alltogether.
Worse - they might cancel the game

LOL. THIS particular thread has more traffic on it in less than 1 day, then thier entire site has had in a week. I posted some of my best stuff over there and in 1 week the "views" has not gone up even by 1.
What scares me is that if they run thier site so badly, and mismanage thier games so badly, that will eventually take OUR game down too. You never know when the game will just be discontinued with no notice.

I almost forgot to mention how I know for sure "thier" forum is dead:
Someone asked if thier was a Ratte tank in scale with AA minis (or at least close). I mentioned that thier WILL be a Ratte available in a few months from this off-beat company called "panzerpainter inc". It has yet to get a response.
Had I posted that here, I would have been flooded with responses. Of course a few would make insanlely low offerings, but still ...........

Now since the "beta" upgrade it is even slower.
Equally as bad is the AH homepage still lists Task Force as Now available when Falnk Speed was released 1 Sept and A&A 1942 as upcoming when it was released end of July. The WoTC AH boards were a good thing before Gleemax, now they have made it even worse. AH is also listed at the bottom of the trade forum, I wonder how long before it will just fade away.
On a good note at least I have noticed more staff involvement the past few days...maybe they do see the issue and are trying to pump some energy into it.
