The BT-7 is still the best choice all around for any real use in pre-42 skirmish. _________________ Remember-OWS-

BT-7 is getting a lot of votes.
I was looking at the V1 BT-7 and kinda of looks to scale with V2s. Does that make sense.
I voted for KV-2. It would be a monster of a tank.
SA - ignore firs damaged counter
- Blast
- Bombardment
The T-40 amphibious tank could be fun. Crossing river hexes would be usefull. |

The KV-2 was a dinosaur, but then again the T-35 was too. Both looked extremely cool, but only one proved itself to be an adequate piece of equipment. Oh, T-35.... _________________

I did the card a while ago, and many fellow player in my area liked it, so they bought Flames of War minis to go along.

well that is a monster... for 1940 german standards.
I fell the AV values are a little high on long range... was that gun so good against armor at "long range"?
I voted T28, a tank we are missing for early war Barbarossa. _________________ Custom AAM Maps & Counters here

Nah.... It's just that I liked the beast so much.
The main Armament was either
152 mm M1938/40 L24
The 152 mm gun could fire a 82lb APHE shell at a muzzle velocity of 1,400'/sec. That would be 124mm thick at 1000 meters.
So the real value would be more like AT: 10/8/6. _________________ Remember-OWS-

No Irony here, only more information on my own card modification I did awhile ago.

BT-7 was the obvious choice for me. I love the speed of it. The T-35 probably wouldn't fit in the tackle boxes. lol
KV-2 is really cool but kind of an enigma, it wasn't a good design, it was too heavy or top heavy and would crumble under the weight of the giant turret and get stuck on anything other than level ground and then couldn't really shoot its gun if not on a flat surface. It would have to have some serious negative SA's such as Poor Suspension as well as what ROWS card already has but it's gun was a beastly thing. _________________
