Hipper is a good CA, you have good AA with the 3.46 guns.
Make sure you used the 8"Ns on it, and when you get to remodel it to the PE, upgrade the guns to the 8"Ls.
I hope you're using Manual Aiming FCS?

I HATE manual aim, I have never missed so much, SCREW manual aim. |
Auto is for noobs. You won't be able to use it effectively on Cruisers, and can't at all on Battleships. And you can't aim torpedos very well on Auto either.
Look for me on New York server. |

So I finally decide on the SS line, hoping that i'll be able to buy the Moltke in the future instead of committing down the CA(Deutschland) line. The decision basically came down to, how long I think I can stay entertained with the game on the surface gunship level. With my time:entertainment ratio dropping quickly I decided it was best for me to change how I played the game for a while.
Then I found out that my lvl37 submarine, requires lvl37 gunners. At least thats what it seems, as I cannot change the equipment I have no way of seeing what level of torpedo capable gunner I need. So back to the grind, back and forth between AA and Blitz setups trying to get my torpedo men skilled up. Should switch out the two engineers for my sonarman and planesman.

I've covered neurals assets and dropped charges on malicon. |

I went the CV line. I've learned how to use Oyodo and I now earn more credits than with anything else. However, I fear it will get boring after that, because Oyodo allows long lances, big guns and 15 floatplane torpedo bombers, while most CVs are just boring gun-less carriers. _________________

Would like to announce that i've leveled a Radio Officer. I can now organize a Squad. Benefits of joining a Squad include:
*Text identifying you as a member of something.
*Anyone can join and withdraw from without any restrictions.
We won't have a fancy logo prefixed to your name you will have the bold text replacing "TeamNF" of a name yet undecided. Only 40 spots available on a first come first serve basis! Might cost you 10,000 credits, as it will cost me 200,000 to initiate it.
Would also like to start an official naming contest.
*A&AForumini
*A&ANM
*Foruminian
*Your idea here.

I like Foruminian. It sounds unique. How come we can't have a fleet logo? It needs some sort of premium registration? _________________

That would be the difference between a Fleet and a Squad. Fleets have minimum 30 people, 2,000,000 credits, member authorization, and penalties for leaving.
BTW: Got my sub, man does this thing power level! Where I was getting 3k xp tops now i'm hitting 10k!
Discovered something about this game I don't like. There is no teamplay, as everyone is out to level their stuff. I can't go in as an AA escort, get one shotted while shooting at the first scout plane. Can think of numerous ways to fix that, but right now its pointless to play as a team.
*Edit* Got two Operators now, first one is in SS2 (hell yeah, this thing is 200% better than SS1) the other is in a M Project. Now I need to work up another 250,000 credits so I can actually field that MPro. Personally I think i've hit the sweet spot in the game. Teamplay still sucks, so now I hang behind the BB's shoot down planes and watch them all blow up. Will also leave them to hunt down aircraft as scoring 1000+ credits (not bonus) is worth more to me than their assets. The sub game is really odd, SS1 pointless. Too slow, too weak, its really tough love to play that POS. SS2 actually can get up to speed (with an engineer i'm doing 26knts) and challenge other SS and threaten ships. Still odd, seems the gameplay for subs is basically run straight ahead, dodge torpedos, eliminate enemy sub (or avoid one altogether) break through and scare ships.

We'd be lucky to get 30 on the same server. |

People like the Mogami Hybrid. And once you're really high level, the Ise Hybrid.
Oh, and if you guys didn't know already, go here for ship and sailor stats:

A lot of what ship you run depends on the level of your Bridge Officer and what ships you choose for him. I have one going into Pocket BB and the other down Submarines. To become a member of a clan, you really just have to ask. I play on Arizona with 2 people that i've actually seen, but about 7 i've got listed. You might need a radio man (lvl6, only need 1)

I had an idea, why don't we all show our BOs? You can do this by pressing the Print Screen button and then pasting into MS Paint. All of mine are Kriegsmarine.
I only have a few kills on my APA BO because I've been using him to level up my AA gunners with my Emden. My only kills on him have been from using torpedos when the opportunites presented themselves. |
