So, grinding my way to the Cruiser & Submarine split. Currently sporting a Emden? Not the Kberg, but that other KM CL that can mount 10 guns per broadside, mainly so I can spam AA. Still gets scrapped by 1 Japanese torpedo, and seems to get hit by them from further away than any other ship i've witnessed.
Main thing is, I'm liking sub's but they seem like such a dead end. Less crew, less advancement for crew. However the gameplay i've seen from the SS class seems more entertaining to my consistently lagged connection.

-Once you get close aim for the side of the ship. Apparently you use "." yet again to actually drop the torpedo's.
In the pictures it shows the planes dropping at about 4 Operator Icons away from the target. Launching them at about 2 Operator Icons away. Problem is my use of Operator Icons in relation to distance covered on the screen is relative to your zoom level. I'm assuming its at default. The targeted ship was a Destroyer about an Icon and a half long at a 30 degree angle.

Thanks for this reply. I somehow missed it. I found out that the actual keys are different (it's "," instead of ".").

Pressing f10 during the game will reveal the command/keyboard list -this will help you.
Going CV first is a hard route to play. Good luck with that  |

Hipper is a good CA, you have good AA with the 3.46 guns.
Make sure you used the 8"Ns on it, and when you get to remodel it to the PE, upgrade the guns to the 8"Ls.
I hope you're using Manual Aiming FCS?

The Emdem is one of the premier AA ships out there. The number of R slots and the 3.46AA gun makes her death against CV players - especially as most of them fly at default height...
You cant stack much Bulge without losing to much speed or getting to your DP limit.

Just being silly.
I only recently got back, and I spend most my time pwning on NY or chilling on MO. I only have one ship on AZ, an FF named "I was right" which I used to taunt rodgerborg when they announced the new nations |

Okay, that just begs the question. How did that come about?
Oh and Emden, actually sports 6 turrets on R with 2 on T. Normally i'd be running AA with Depth Charges, but leveling up a couple of torpedo men (probably going to go SS and CA at the same time.) at the moment.

If you mean the FF. Because I posted that massive topic in the suggestion forum ..... 3 years ago? I don't even remeber, that lined out the French, Italians and Russians. and Rodger fought it every step of the way, tehn when I got conformation from modly friends that they were going in, I had to.........
If anyone comes to NY just look me up. I'm either in a Malta or Lion2, sitting in a room called te "Super Happy Fun Zone", account name is Skygunner. Cant give you crew or anything, but if you need some finanical supoprt I may be able to help

This looks really interested but I'm a bit miffed that Mac is shafted again. At least I can play my WoW on my Mac AND I just pre-ordered Snow Leopard for $29 with FREE shipping. HECK YES!

That's the one I have. They say it's by far the worst CV, but I like the fact that I can torp at the beginning while waiting for my Seirans to arm. No room for proper guns though. Only 2x 7.9inch.

Could that be due to the fact that its the first one you have access to? There is a serious lack of newbie consideration in this game. They all tell you to just stick to whatever is the best DD until you get to like level 60. Who the hell wants to play a DD for 30+ levels?
*performance update* Got two AA gunners at lvl30 which is a sweet spot for KM AA guns. 3.46 AA rounds from 12 barrels reloading at 0.600s. I can send a non stop stream of AA flying now. Helps overcome lag issues. More importantly, I can take these two and drop them on a Z1 for a fast effective AAW/ASW escort that can level up newb Bridge Officier into CA's.
