The corsair is both exciting and scarry for me but I still want a land based figher.
Now a lot of people, including me, have made scratch ones and they have been really good cards.
But I want one more or less "offical" to go by _________________ Awesome WildCat Ace!!!!! |

I have to ask again if anyone has ever heard R.B. actually mention the Tallinn. He only said a 'cruiser' at GenCon. The mention of Tallinn was strictly speculation from a post. And we got Voroshilov which is what a lot of us thought much more likely (Kirov class.) I think Tallinn should be removed from the list. _________________

Actually, we received the Kirov herself and not the Voroshilov. I'm not sure why the Voroshilov is always listed instead of the Kirov, but a lot of people seem to be making the error.
In regards to the list, I would change 'George' to 'NIK George,' 'Kwanashi NIK George,' 'Kwanashi NIK-J George' or something similar. _________________ AAM

| We don't have many options left for German rares. There's the Gneisenau, the Blucher, and the Schlesien. All three are reprint material. I will be very curious to see how this works in future sets. We are effectively reaching the end of the line for available German sets. Is the next step a Pacific-only themed set? Perhaps there will be a set of nothing but planned and post-war ships. A set of Midways, Montanas, Vanguard, H-44's, Kikkas, Bearcats, and the Sovyetskiy Soyuzes. A single fantasy set could allow the sticklers to leave it out of tournament play, and consider it an Unglued set. |

In case anyone missed the reference, Unglued was a Magic the Gathering set that was made for casual play purposes, and had a lot of jokes and humor on the cards, often making fun of other Magic cards. It allowed for fun play, but was not tournament legal. _________________

I would like to see the Isuzu for the IJN, even if they have to "fudge" her a little. It won't be anything like the Atlantas for sure, but Akitsuki and Tone just don't quite fit the bill. If WotC is serious about allowing the IJN to play large air battles against the USN, a little help would be appreciated. Until then, the swarm will have to continue.
AA of 6 and Anti-Air Specialist with a cost at or below 15 would probably suffice. The IJN is really that desperate

I love the aircraft a lot and especially love using carrier forces, but 9 of the 14 on the list are aircraft, I think that would be too good to be true...
fingers crossed |

Good catch! The original list published to the board listed Voroshilov and it stuck. I didn't notice the card being different. _________________

I only count 8.
So far we've had:
WAS: 12/64 18.75%
TF: 13/60 21.67%
FS: 6/40 15%
so that 8 out of 40 would only be 20% which is within the range that they have done thus far.
I would imagine that in set IV we won't see many French vessels save for maybe the Bearn. Likewise with fewer German vessels, because of the aircraft. _________________

Niobe could be a good rare. Nurnberg or Leipzig could also be rare. It wouldn't be that great to get a light cruiser as a rare, but they are options at least.

What was the source of the George? I don't recall that one being mentioned anywhere before except in 'what if' lists. Same for the FW190. The Fiesler I do seem to remember someone saying they at least had a discussion with RB. _________________

My bad I glanced at the two Japanese entries and thought they were both planes...
Gimme more planes and carriers all the same,
but even those 8 out of 40(is the next set 40 as well?) will be sweet |

Yes, M2A0 specified another 40 unit set. _________________

I don't recall the FW190 off the top of my head, but I believe that RB has said that the George would not be in Set III but we would see it by set IV. _________________

found it:
"As far as the George, I think he said to wait for set 4. Same with Fw 190."
from Scarnhorst reporting on his discussions with RB. _________________

Thank you. Scharnhorst had a good discussion with RB. But it was about future sets in general. So at least we know RB had plans for it eventually. _________________
