Post subject: A price comparison site for Axis & Allies Minis
|
|
|
I have created a website that allows you to compare prices for Axis & Allies miniatures. I got tired of spending an hour or more trying to compare prices at multiple online stores and eBay to find the best prices, so I created a website that does it for me.
http://www.abprices.com
I will be adding new stores as I find them.
Thanks,

Missing Miniature Market and Games Outfitters, but aside from that, nice job.
You also have a slight technical problem when you have the price of single boosters for reserves actually link to a Booster CASE price. _________________

That is a great idea and the site is well done! You may also want to add Troll and Toad, I buy from them sometimes because their buy prices are better than most other places so I can unload mini's I dont want and then get store credit to buy the ones I do. _________________ Nuts! - General Anthony McAuliffe

The prices on your website for V1 stuff seems a little hard to swallow. I know stores around these parts that sold them at 50 cents for rares, and boosters were selling for 2 dollars a pop. Even with me and a few others scooping up some of the old stuff when we find it, there are local stores that cannot give the boosters away.
I understand a lot of folks want to get top dollar for their V1 investments but honestly how realistic are we talking here? |

I like the website too. Just question some of the prices for V1 vehicles on there.
I did the rounds of those stores today after that post to see what I could scrounge. The local ones someone already cleaned out by someone else. Couple weeks ago I bought 30 Contested Skies boosters for 40 dollars after offering the owner cash. Finally got the four stukas I wanted.
If you check other stores in Canada you might find the same thing. Apart from Montreal I dont think there is a lot of AAM going on, especially V1. Store owners just want to dump stuff to get rid of the dust collections. Sad that it has come to that, but true.
Sorry guys. |

| I'll check the FLGS in Toronto, but last I checked (about a month ago) V1 boosters were going for $10 - $16. |

We have recently completed a rather large addition to abPrices.com which includes:
Trade System
- Your trades will be listed on the same page as the prices, visible to thousands of people.
- Import you trades from other websites or software
- Easily find other people to trade with. We will search all available trades and show you who has the most to trade with and closest estimated value.
- When proposing a trade, easily see estimated values and if it is a good trade or not.
- Leave feedback on user after trade, which will be visible to others.
Inventory
- Easily manage and track you collection
- Import you inventory / wants / trades from other websites and software
Reports
- Estimated value of your collection
- A specially formatted report of your wants/trades that is easily pasted into forums.
- and others
Please try it out and let me know if you have any suggestions and feedback.
Thanks,

Seriously? I guess I'd better ransack a few of the FLGS around here! |
