I have Laffey and Hoel for a +2 and Iowa for +2 but anyway.... 25 turns is a TON of gameplay. Your tenacity is very admirable, most people would have quit a long time ago but you've really hung in there and it's good practice, of course. I've seen where you've made a few errors but not many. It started very early when Fletcher sank Koln, just better luck for me.

San Francisco moves to H2
Hoel and Iowa in F3 with Scharnhorst
Atlanta to G3
Princeton to G6
Baltimore and Laffey to D8

Search checks-

Halifax, Swordfish, and Devastator, in that order to F3- Rolls: (3d6)

All 3 aircraft make it, amazingly. By the way, you forgot to move your sub so I'll put it in E2.

So Hoel is crippled and Scharnhorst damaged Iowa.

Good game, you deserved that victory.  Now we'll see if I can get revenge in that Deathmatch Deluxe, assuming I get some teammates.

Tirpitz-

I tip my hat. That was a really good game! Like I said, many guys would have surrendered a while back but you hung in there against all odds.

I'll see you in the online forum, we should be able to get a couple more peeps to join in, there is a lot going on right now with 2 land tournaments but as people get beat we'll pick up some more.

As an aside, the MVP's of this match were Cleveland(no surprise) and De Ruyter(big surprise). De Ruyter won me most of the early game initiatives, some when I really needed them. Fletcher gets honorable mention for sinking a German cruiser going head to head. That changed the game, in my opinion.

The duds were B-25 for failing at least 7 or 8 search checks and out of 20+ turns, the B-25 scored 2 bomb hits. pathetic. Halifax wasn't much better.

Brilliant match. Tirpitz was superb, but in the end DaJudge got the victory. Congrats both of you. DaJudge, you're through to the final clap. Tirpitz you play for positions 3-4, when the other semifinal finishes.

Again, great game.  It was lots of fun.

My MVP: Kondor, for finally crippling Archerfish.

My dud: Scharnhorst, for failing to abort a Swordfish and then getting hit by its torps.  I picked it over Cesare for its AA, too.
