They both make it back to Princeton.

I'll buy Baltimore and Laffey for 27 and bank 7.

Map upcoming that includes my moves only.

Scharnhorst has no line of sight to Iowa or San Fransisco/Hoel.

So it can only attack Princeton/Atlanta, which can't fight back.

That's a tough call with H2 and F3. If I put a piece of paper from center to center, it looks like line of sight is ok to me but it's very close. We'll say it doesn't have it just to be agreeable.

So, it will be my air searches first-

B-25 to H2- Rolls: (1d6)
Swordfish to H2- Rolls: (1d6)
Devastator to H2- Rolls: (1d6)

B-25 and Swordfish make it.

Your air check and AA in H2

If there's line of sight or not, that's my move either way.  Should we ask someone?

Scharnhorst AA at Swordfish Rolls: (8d6)                 -1

I printed out the map and the jut of the island sticks out enough that line of sight would be blocked. It's close but in all fairness, it just barely clips a corner of the island. On the other side, from F1 to H2, there is line of sight because the island is thinner on that side.

Anyway, AA at Iowa sector-

Rolls: (9d6)

Attacks by my aircraft- I can't believe the Swordfish got through! Miracle.

B-25 bombs- Rolls: (7d6)
Swordfish torpedo- Rolls: (3d6)        need a lucky hit

Bah, no lucky hit madness.

Surface phase- Hoel Pops Smoke which will now block line of sight to Princeton and Atlanta.

You will have your sub shot.

Air return-

Swordfish- Rolls: (1d6)
Devastator- Rolls: (1d6)

Wow...  8 AA against a Swordfish, it makes it and then I get hit with a torpedo.  Argh.....

And Emily is shot down.  What next?  San Fransisco vitals Scharnhorst from range 3?

You need to roll initiative first!  lol

We've had some truly horrible luck at the wrong times this game but my good luck has outweighed your good luck I guess.

So, turn 25 I think- I collect 17 and have 24 to your 5.

init roll- Rolls: (2d6)     +4

You are only +3, but it doesn't matter.

25 turns is a lot of gameplay.  I can't believe I haven't lost yet.

I buy Subchaser for 4 and bank 1.

Scharnhorst to f3, Subchaser to h2.
