Time for your round 2 match.

The map is the same. The new limit is 100 pts. Each of the two objectives is for 45 pts and you win at 100 pts.

Please send me your fleets gentlemen.

And ladies Smile. Sorry, I was just copy-pasting from thread to thread  Razz

Btw, will you take part in the second creativity challenge? http://aaminis.myfastforum.org/forum26.php And you still seem to have a chance to win the first one. I expect the bulk of votes to arrive during the weekend.

I just got back from a week in the Ardennes (where the spas, hiking, off-roading, gaming and war museums didn't leave much free time for this sort of thing), but I suppose I'll give it a shot.

As for the 1st contest, I don't really expect to win it (Cpt. Miller's design is truly beautiful, even if a little too big for a header/logo), and 2nd place is flattering enough for me!

I know... to be honest I only picked it because I would totally hate to be defeated by it - I'd have been happier playing Sprague. I expected such a fierce "first-post" competition that I wrote down six choices on my original post!

Anyhow good luck Raevski, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. Rodney's probably your best bet, but then it will face either a horde of Barbs or the might of Iowa.

BB + smoke screen... funny, I've seen that before Wink

Actually that's a pretty tough cookie. No amount of subs will stop you in time methinks Sad

I'll get back to you in a short while  Twisted Evil

Hmmmm, no easy way to counter this (I considered 8 Barbs, but they kinda suck), so I'll just go with what I know:

USS New Jersey (USS Iowa, 68)
PT-66 (PT Boat, 6)
VS-6 Able (SBD Dauntless, 13)
VS-6 Baker (SBD Dauntless, 13)

It will be pretty tough - Rodney's a little monster!

Here's my setup roll: Rolls: (2d6)

And init: Rolls: (2d6)      +2

I can do the map.

I choose the West side!

USS New Jersey and PT-66 both deploy in E1.

Heh!

Believe me, I'd rather not keep playing Iowas. But against BBs, all you can field are subs (if yours don't stink) or an even bigger BB.

I was kinda looking forward to facing a J & T swarm...

Anyhow Herr Raeder, let's both hope you will meet Mr Wisconsin  Laughing
