Post subject: Another Romanian: Ioan Sion
|
|
|
Bio: Sion's 1st Armoured Division was decisive in capturing Chisinau in 1941, and he led the 15th Division out of encirclement at Stalingrad in 1942.
Fast Moving: Once per game, before the start of any given turn, this player may declare that all his units gain +1 speed during his movement phase this turn.
Limited Equipment: This player's vehicles and artillery units cost 2 more each.
I try to take care of both situations. And I still have not given up Lascar. |

Shouldn't we try to finish the 2 or 3 already on the table? _________________

Sion, could have a negative SA- Fractured command- The first armoured divion was split up to support thr infantry divisons. we could work on that. _________________

Here are two versions of "Fractured Command":
Version A: This player's units are deployed by his opponent.
Version B: This player gains -1 initiative. |

An updated version of Sion:
Bio: (unchanged)
Fast Moving: (unchanged)
Fractured Command: This player's value of vehicles deployed may not exceed that of the soldiers. |

That is tough because soldiers are between 3-13 points and vehicles are between 11-62 points ( obviously not for romania but it pushes a point.) |

I think Fast Moving is a good positive, which should be coupled with a tough negative.
Yes, this positive, if given to a major, will make life difficult. But I think Romania can make it do. |

sions command was splt up to support inf formations. The R35's where too slow for modern mechanised tactics. _________________

SA Breakout- this players Soldiers count as double victory points.
I.e if you can deny the objective then your points for if are doubled for Soldiers. If the other player kills them he get the points. _________________

Now Sion is changed to:
Bio: Sion led the 15th Division out of encirlement at Stalingrad.
Breakout: This player's soldiers count double points.
"Fractured Command" is now not used as "Breakout" is actually neutral. |

How will that affect the "Breakout" SA? |

I should add something to explain how to use Sion better: build an army that minimize the soldier component, and hope that the opponent would not do the same.
This will reflect Sion's 1941 role in another way. |
