Since my surface ships can't fire, the Hoel will put out a smoke screen.
For simplicity, you can make concealment rolls for my ships that you attack.

Hold on! Sorry, I cheated!
Koln only gets 5 dice @ range 3, so that last 6 never happened. Hoel is undamaged.

No - it missed. Hoel is undamaged. I shouldn't benefit by rolling again. We can see it was the 6th die that would have hit. You can purchase.
