Here's one...
I'm at work and don't have the rule book in front of me. Can a paratrooper deploy next to an objective marker? I know it can't be deployed in the objective itself.
I'm thinking of dropping one of my German paras in the town and another in the woods w/ road next to the objective. I know the town one's okay, but the woods one...?
When our group plays, I think such a move is fine, but I can't remember!
Thanks!

I believe the only restriction is it cannot be next to an enemy unit. So technically you could place it in the objective hex if an enemy unit is not adjacent. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Can be done at the end of any movement phase, so you can wait a few turns as well.
Would not be divulging my stategy in the Q&A sticky though. _________________ Aaron

LoL Well, I planned to deploy this turn anyway, so it's not a big deal. _________________ The rabbits are coming, hooray, hooray...

ahhh. I didn't know you were waiting or I'd have answered this.
"At the end of any of your movement phases, you may deploy this unit on the map in any hex that isn't adjacent to an enemy unit. It can't move that phase."
To me... you can deploy next to or onto the objective if you like. _________________ formerly Polish_Horsy on A&A minis website

No such limit. Only limit on number of heroes, which is different for each round. _________________

I am rather confused as to the numbering of the hex's. In this orientation shouldnt it just simply be straight across?
Map does look interesting though! |

Ahhhh on closer inspection I see how we will send movement. Slightly different from the last threw me for a loop.

I had considered moving an infantryman into a hex that contained an enemy infantry. This would have involved crossing a river into a hex with cover.
I'm curious what the order on this would be?
If the enemy choose to shoot at me in the range 1 hex would I have to roll for crossing the stream 1st? I believe that only makes sense. And if I failed I assume he would not have been able to shoot.
If he chooses to fire at me in the same hex I likewise assume I'd have to roll to cross the stream 1st. And If I failed that he would not get a shot.
Any comments? _________________ formerly Polish_Horsy on A&A minis website
