Post subject: One new unit - Your Choice
|
|
|
In the same way as we did the topic "One vehicle to rescale - Your choice" I propose we make a classification of the "most wanted" units that are not in this game at this moment.
So state ONE new (that does not exist in AAM) unit you would like to see in the game (does not matter if this unit will ever be introduced, that is not the point). Be as specific as you like, maybe post even a picture of that unit.
Only the first choice will be considered for the classification if you field multiple.
Popular among the users "wishing list" were the British Mortar, some French Aircraft or Artillery, Soviet Fighter and I would add an AntiAir unit or transport for the Italians.
Proposal: if you post your choice, please quote the previous classification and add yourself the choice to the list; if you choose the same unit as one present already in the classification, modify by "1" it's indicator. _________________ Custom AAM Maps & Counters here

So top on my list sits the Romanian Fighter IAR 80 and that would make the Romanians "stand alone". Right now they lack the official "AA" units. I would love also some French "obsolete ww2" artillery or an Anti-Air artillery for the Italians. The Germans lack the Panzer 3 Mark J, I would love that. Last, for the Finns some new infantry.
Classification:
1. IAR 80 - 1 _________________ Custom AAM Maps & Counters here

The Ordnance QF 25 pounder would be my choice. The british really need some serious artillery. _________________ The truth hurts. |

Why a WASP Universal Carrier for my Canadians of course! Who wouldn't want a transport with a flamethrower on it? _________________ Powerful men are well advised not to use violence,

maybe you could post some pics for the people who don't know what those letters stand for:
MB 152, W15 TCC, PZL P.24, B239
it's a way to learn stuff also... seeing a picture along with a code.
and don't forget to add your choice to the list people as Westentaschenschlachti did... show us YOU CAN! just say NO to the "lazy" factor _________________ Custom AAM Maps & Counters here

I would like to see the: Land Mattress Rocket projector added to the canadian Army.
Developed in 1944 using surplus ordinance, which made them cheap to build. They had a range of 8000m with indirect fire at a rate of 4 per second. They first saw combat in November 1944 in Flushing against German AA with success and saw combat in every major Canadian battle for the rest of the war. They were trailer mounted and consisted of three batteries with 12 projector each, totaling 36 launchers. In Jan 1945 the US Army ordered the development of a similar weapon to be used in the same way.

I dont completely understand the instructions regarding classification so I will wing it:

| Quote: | | I dont completely understand the instructions regarding classification so I will wing it | Well, let me give you an example: if I should post my choice (let's say the IAR 80), it would be nice at the end of my message to copy/paste the above List/Classification and change the number from the IAR 80 from "1" to "2".
In this way we have an updated classification with every new choice. I saw this system used on other forums and thought it could fit to this type of topic.
