Which is a subclass of Essex. I decided to group them together because the difference in hull length would barely even show up on a WaS mini, and I doubt RB is ever going to do a Ticonderoga model. _________________

Figured as much, just wanted to make a note about that for the anal-retentives. (Like the guys who won't even count the Rudderows as "existing units" in spite of their bolt-for-bolt identicality (well, aside from their powerplanrs, which were slightly different but same performance) with the Butlers. _________________ <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Look at all those nice portraits.
I'm glad you made a card for the Attacker. Good for the British!
Six more Essex class, huh? It occurs to me... First of all, that's a nice variety of SA's, and no two carriers are the same. I've learned to appreciate that. The costs all look low to me, but I think the Intrepid is a tad bit under-costed, so who am I to judge?
It occurs to me that making these cards is going to feed the frenzy for Intrepids, and help drive up the price. Everyone's going to want at least eight apiece, now, to go with the cards. It's all my fault, if anyone asks.
Thanks for all seven new cards! They're perfect. _________________ Repaint Reference...

That's okay, I already fed the Intrepid frenzy by buying nine of them.
By the way, did you notice the Quincy? _________________

Sure did! I wanted to add her to the rack and the lists, while I'n still mostly awake. That's a different angle for a portrait shot, and I like the way it looks. She's a keeper, thank you very much. _________________ Repaint Reference...

I always try to use color photos if I can find them. I think they look a lot better. _________________

Oh, man. I haven't even ordered my first case yet. I'd better not wait much longer, I reckon.
Edit... I like the color ones, too. I think everyone does. _________________ Repaint Reference...

Very cool!! What you could do for the Ticonderoga class is bump the AA up by one and raise the cost a pt or 2. Since they did have a bit more AA due to the longer hull. That was what me and BBOK did for the ones we made prior to seeing the Intrepid. _________________ Take a peek at my tradelist:

It's not a bad idea, but I'm not comfortable with adjusting the stats on a repaint card. _________________

True. Since the Intrepid was released I had to go back to the drawing board and redo the Essex that I made. Good ole WoTC their costs are kinda tricky to predict at times. _________________ Take a peek at my tradelist:

Very true. And in truth, I am thinking about maybe eventually re-doing the Essex here, because it seems a little silly that the most powerful Essex class carrier is the Essex. _________________

This boat had an interesting history, that's for sure. I assume the Battleship Support SA is based on Kapitänleutnant Wohlfarth's confidence while the Bismarck was around, and that the Out of Ammo SA is the price he paid for being a little too confident, or something along those lines? It looks that way, and I like it.
The way you've worded Out of Ammo, you're not really out of ammo, though, since you roll before every attempt to attack. (It's more of an Ammo Shortage, one might say, if one were a chestiferous semantacyst.) No matter what you call it, putting Battleship Support and Out of Ammo together was a stroke of genius. You two really came up with a fascinating unit, here.
Thanks for the new Sub! _________________ Repaint Reference...

Chesty, the story was, IIRC, he found perfect firing solutions at either end on two separate targets (hence Audacious Attack) but found himself with no torps to consummate the attacks (hence Out of Ammo). Battleship Support was because of close relations that 556's crew and Bismarck's had while both were building in the B&V yard. (IIRC it was 556, a lot of U-boat histories sometimes blur together if you don't keep your wits about you and your references in front of you--this was working from memory.) _________________ <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Right. I'm just saying that Out of Ammo implies that, you know, you're out of ammo. Winchester. Done.
What the SA describes sounds more like Ammo Shortage, Conserve Ammo, or even Picky Shooter, since you're never really out. I like the SA, and the way it works with the Battleship Support SA, but the name doesn't fit. That's all I'm saying. _________________ Repaint Reference...

You could also sneak in Furutaka and Kako--only minor differences. (As noted elsewhere, I've seen some sources treat all four as one class, kinda like while PE was an improved Hipper, or Maya/Chokai improved Takaos, they get classed the same.) _________________ <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
