I love me some TANKS!  I play once a month at the FLGS in Port Huron, Michigan.  The tanks are supposedly the same scale as AAM, but are just slightly (a couple mm) larger than AAM (and PSC) tanks.  I initially planned on using my AAM units but love making the kits.

Here's some pics from yesterday.  My opponent had a Jagdpanther and 3 Panzer IVs, but had a Panther and StuG stand in for 2 of the P-IVs.   I had a platoon of Canadian Grenadier Guards Shermans (3 Vs and a Firefly Vc) with an additional Firefly in support (2nd Sherbrooke Fusiliers - the Firefly that got Wittmann).  We played on my new Caen map with the shops' new plastic French houses (including the church from St. Mere-Eglise).

My bad dice combined with the opponent's fantastic dice to spell doom for my units.

Awesome pics!

Just got the Tiger and Puma in the mail.  Way more unique cards than I was expecting.  Very cool!

You can make 4 interchangeable variants with the Puma kit.  There are only 2 official cards, but the sprues have all the parts for all 4 possible builds (from Flames of War).

I got a chance to play this game a few weeks ago with my father-in-law, and it was a blast! I already have quite a few minis painted up on the German side from FoW, so I need to work on building up my Americans...

Got to play three Tanks games with my daughter this weekend.  Good times!  Now my 9 year old knows what a Tiger is!

I played the Soviets for the first time last weekend.  They are a great matchup with the German heavies.  The IS-2 is a beast with the 7 attack dice (with co-ordinated fire) and 8 hit points.  And I like the fast T-34s same as I like the Comets and Cromwells for the Brits.

I bet it's an early version of the regular Tiger.  I don't think there were King Tiger's in North Africa?  It's supposed to be mid-war in the desert.

If you get the box sets from Flames of War it's cheaper than buying a multiples of the TANKS packs.  Get 1 or 2 TANKS packs for the cards.  Also, check eBay.   Some guy was selling StuG and M4A4 sprues for cheap.  I think I got 3 tanks for $20 US with shipping.

I just ordered the Tiger Marsch edition of the new Tiger set from Flames of War.  I got it on eBay for $40 US with free shipping (in the US).  It's 5 Tigers, a sprue of commanders/figures, and decals to make the 5 Tigers for Wittman's platoon.  It also comes with 7 TANKS cards.  You Get Wittman, Bobby Woll, someone else..., the German Doctrine card, and 3 equipment cards.   I think it's supposed to entice FOW players into TANKS.

Mine too!  Especially after I do the exchange as I buy my stuff at the FLGS in Michigan when I play.  2nd Saturday of the month is TANKS day and I always get something while I'm there to support the store for hosting.

By the way, a thread for this game has been started at the new forum, you may want to consider continuing there!
