Looks very interesting. If I'd have more time, I'd do some playtests with my friends, but I don't see that happen in the near future, due to  a lot of things to get done.... Sad

Enjoy your son's birthday!

BTW, have either of you been to the newly (re)opened Militair Museum? It looks amazing but I haven't found the time to visit yet.

Idd Pendragon, have a great time!

We've been to the new museum EK, and it's extremely worth it. It has become a very very nice museum, especially compared to the old one.

the NMM is sceduled for a teambuilding event in october.

Once a year we have a 3-day trip within the BENELUX or Germany.

This year we plan to go to Amersfoort and surroundings, including a visit to the NMM, 400 medical battalion in Ermelo and the aeromedicine center of the airforce.

All kudo´s for the WWII in 3D thread are for Toyama.... i merely assist in playing the scenario´s (and an occasional AAR)

Thanks for the awesome game Eccles! I really enjoyed myself, and like I said, I think you've got the flow of the game really nailed down. It just needs some minor polishing here and there. Well done!

AAR to follow Very Happy

Thank you very much for helping me playtesting. I've taken a ton of notes which I will work into the rules. I'm really content with how the game flows and how the mechanics work like they are intended.

Really looking forward to your AAR. If you want to check anything with my notes just send me a PM.

Hey EK, Toyama and/or Pendragon, any (or all) of you up for another game of Naval War? I've pretty much finished the current iteration of the set and I'm dying to get some more games in... I can accomodate up to two gaming tables at my place, so we could even do a small tournament of sorts?

Very Happy There's no way I can resist a nice game of simultaneous Naval War.

Because of the upcoming holidays and such, I'm afraid that I can't attend before the end of august though :/
When did you have in mind?  Very Happy

No special date in mind, just wondering when you guys would have time to play some game(s) Smile

Pendragon: I'm afraid the september date is already booked by the misses, but we can lock the date in october for now (bit to far away for me to know if there are any interfering plans though)

There's a good chance I'll be in Cuba that week, but I'll put it on the calendar just in case Smile

I'll be in NL all August and much of September, though, and I'd certainly love to give the game another go! Very Happy

Such a pity.
I figured we could have remembered the 71th anniversary of the sinking of the Zuikaku and Musashi at that day (24 oct. 1944), by replaying the battle.

We should be able to find more dates where we can plan a get together.
Eccles, are you going to visit Crisis?

Lol, nice one there suggesting to replay Leyte...I think I'll have enough ships painted for that battle in 2023 or something Razz

If possible I'm going to try visit Crisis, just as a visitor, I'm still to shy to book a table there Razz
