Ok first of all Jesse Im going to slap you... your islands dont look like crap. It is PAINFULLY obvious that your islands and cealigh's islands were invaluable inspiration for these. I make it a conscious and dedicated point not to copy or "steal" someone else's niche and their great work. But in this case your stuff is just too damn cool. Im honestly trying to complement what you and cealigh offer here to the forum. More or less working on the "defended fortress" side of things.
Anyway, things are moving quickly and it looks like we may have an official announcement on pricing soon. They will be cast in resin and the final products look way better than the "concept pieces" I have displayed so far... stay tuned! _________________ Mutants For Nukes! |

Great work! You've motivated me to give it a go at making some islands. _________________ "I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the ordeal of meeting me is another matter." ~ Winston Churchill

| If you want the islands (they look really good BTW) to be usable for other Naval games, you could mount then on a clear plastic base. That way they show through to the map or whatever underneath and ships can dock if needed. |

I made it. I just took some modelling clay, shaped it into the shape of Iwo Jima, and then baked it. Afterwards, I based it on cardboard, painted it, and glued on guns from a modelling kit. The whole thing together probably cost me about $20, and took me three hours or so to make.
Coming up with the stats has been about twice as difficult as making the model was. _________________

Any update on the cost and availability for these islands Seisen?
Could you also consider the cost of shipping these overseas (ie Australia)?
Cheers
