k thanks, but actually It dont bother me that he's been AFK today, cause I havent had any time to start this game today. But tomorrow I get home from work early and then I'll post my setup and hopefully he's online by then so we can get going Cool I've actually printed out the map and made all the units out of smal pieces of papers with their names on'em Very Happy  this should make it easy and fast for me to work out set up and battles.

best regards

Note the tanks can't enter the jungle except via track

I will be away for the next 10 hours or so at a "real plastic" AAM tourny, I will check on this game  tonight when I get back. Andreas: to speed game along I am ok with you rolling my cover rolls, you ok with me rolling yours? And if there is only one possible defensive fire in a phase for a unit I am ok you rolling that too. If more than one is possible then we should wait and let the owner decide which one to do. Can you do maps? Or Raevski can you do it? I have never played online, I will work on learning how to do a map tonight but I am not a computer whiz

my setup:

D15: 70mm gun

D14: 2x arisaka

E14: 2x arisaka

F14: 2x arisaka

G14: SerGAnt, arisaka

I14: 2X arisaka

J14: 2x knee mortar

K14: sergant, arisaka

I16: MG

your setup is supposed to be within 2 hexes of the right side of map, most of your stuff is too far in. also stack limit is 2 per hex, you got 2 different hexes with 3 in each. and the ha-go tanks cannot enter jungle except along track, so if you put that one at the top in a14 it will never be able to leave that little pocket. I will check in periodically for the next 4 hours or so (your info says you are in denmark. if so i suppose it is early morning now). When you revise your setup and post it let me know if you want to move 1st, or you want me to move 1st, as japanese side gets initiative on 1st turn. I may want to move during my movement phase, I dunno right now without seeing your setup. I suppose if you want to move 1st you can post your moves when you post your setup, then I will decide my moves, if any.

I've been sick since friday, I wasent thinking clear, sry...revised setup:

A15: 2x Arisaka

B14: Sgt, Arisaka

D14: 2x arisaka

D15: 70mm

E15: 2x arisaka

E16: Sgt, arisaka

F14: HaGo, arisaka

F15: HaGo, mortar

G16: MG, mortar

I15: 2x arisaka

I16: MG, mortar

J14: Sgt, arisaka

I move first (I know I have initiative but since I've been slowing the game down I'll just move anyway)

Sgt, arisaka from J14 to J13

2x arisaka from I15 to I14

2x arisaka from E15 to E14

2x arisaka from D14 to D13

Sgt, arisaka from E16 to E15

Sgt, arisaka from B14 to A13 (inf move two hexes on road in this game)

2x arisaka from A15 to A14

All mortars, Mgs and tanks + one arisaka dont move.

qeustion:  F13, road thorugh forrest, does it block LOS? It didnt in the other game...

you moves, If I get the opertunity I wanna make def. fire.

I made a mistake, G16 contains one MG and one Sgt, not a mortar. The arisaka in E16 (which moved to E15) is all by himself, the mortar which I thought was in G16 is actually in J15.

So:

G16: MG, Sgt.

E16: arisaka

J15: mortar

moves:

arisaka from E16 to E15

Sgt and MG in G16 stays

mortar in J15 moves to I15

my moves:
2 x owens stay at D11
2 x vets at E12 to E11
vet at F12 to F10     officer at F12 to F11
vet at G12 to G11
officer at H10 to H9
2 x vets at H11 to H10
2 x brens at I11 to I10
mortar at F8 to G9

I am working under the assumption that the officers spot to 8 hexes as raevski said we are using revised cards, and revised spotters can spot to 8 hexes. waiting for a confirmation on raevski for this. if spotting range is 4 hexes then i will want to move the officer from F11 to F10.
about the forest/jungle at F13, no los through it even with road. you must be thinking about the sire fred game when one of them mistakenly shot through the forest hex at F11.

range for the spotter to see target is 8 hexes, your officer needs to be within 4 hexes of mortar/gun. Only telephone link no radio.

thanks Raevski for the spotter answer. I confirm the officer move, officer at F12 to move to F11. All other moves as per previous post. Andreas's assault phase.

I like the scenario, nice change from the 100 point standard games. I have only played a jungle/japanese game once before.
