I don't have the rules, but does someone want to play with me, 100 pts, starter battle?  I'd kinda like the RAF.  I'll read over a game thread and other overviews to get the basic idea.

Piper, I have the rulebook scanned if you want it... can't post on the forum for copyright reasons, but if you PM you email, I'll let you "borrow" it. Wink

Finnish vs Soviet is one that I'm interested in testing out as well.  What do you have in mind?---I'm game for that, though we should probably get our own thread.

No, I'll be fine.

Raveski, would you like to play the Finns-Russian battle with Vergilius, because I'd kinda like to do a fairly simple first battle.

Just by way of recommendation, a simple UK vs Germany battle is just straight out of the starter book:  Spitfire and Hurricane vs Wingman and Bf109E Ace.  It is reasonably close in points, and gives each side 2 planes.  That's a good way to learn the game and to have a real battle of Britain contest.  The starter units really aren't designed to be played 3v3, and none of the 4 possible battle of Britain scenarios in the rulebook actually feature a 3v3.

If no one else jumps on this simple contest, I might be game for it, but I'd like a couple of days off after my recent spurt of 2 games.

Do you want to do 100pts or the 109 Wingman + Ace vs Spit Ace and 31pt Hurricane that Vergilius suggested?

If you had the starter set, I can understand wanting to use the planes in it. However, since you don't and we effectively have every unit to choose from I would suggest a 100 point build.

I think the most solid UK option is Spitfire Ace and 2 Hurricane Mk Is, exactly 100 points.

I'd like to try an Italian build so I'll use the Folgore Ace, Folgore, and Expeditionary C.200.

Just making a 2nd Folgore token, sadly I couldn't find a top down view of a green one.

In this case we're just using advantage to determine who sets up first. We'll be using the equal setup maps since its your first game (so no one starting above or behind the other)
