Laffey was in G5 last turn, went to G7 with Illustrious. Sorry for the confusion, I might have typed it wrong. I still have a Hellcat that didn't shoot at anything.

I'll shoot with the Hellcat, which didn't shoot at anything if you want me to.
Illustrious aborted Folgore, Wildcat hit the Stuka and aborted it and I shot with Laffey at the SM 79.

One of the hazards of online gaming, easy to make typos. I actually keep notes during the game and had written that Illustrious was in G5 the turn before that and stayed put this turn so laffey could catch up and give extra AA support.
Obviously in a live game I wouldn't do that, there would be no point to leaving Laffey there.

I understand your position and have a solution-
The dice rolls would still be identical- Illustrious and Cleveland both have 8AA and I rolled 2 6's and a 5 at Folgore, no harm, no foul. The Wildcat still aborts the Stuka with it's same roll.
The Hellcat would attack the SM 79- Rolls: (8d6)

If you attack with your fighter instead that would be fine, i thought you may of had a plan to draw my aircraft off your carrier using Laffey as bait

So, if you wanted to change it to Cleveland, you'd get an attack on her.
My air attacks wouldn't change but you likely won't lose Galster but of course, if you miss with the SM79, nothing changes.
I'll concede that since I typed it wrong but like I said, in a live match, that wouldn't happen but yes, you might have gone for Cleveland instead. Fair enough?
