Cool, thanks!

Any idea if there scans of the back of the cards?

I am not doing scans of the backs.  When I began the project I intended to do the rear but have since changed my mind.  I discuss this (give reasons etc) at War at Sea: Stat Cards Gallery Update.

Nope, hadn't paid any attention to this in a while since I've got them all now. Things have been a bit slow on this board while we all wait to gripe about Flank Speed when it's released. Wink  Twisted Evil  Laughing

Aquarius and all, I have more scans to accompany the rest of my Base Set scans in this thread.  I'm hoping to finish the Allies completely from Base Set before sending them in.  If you don't want to wait you can grab them from War at Sea: Picture Card Gallery.

I'm scanning in order but if there's any card(s) people really want let me know and I'll bump it to the head of the line.

What exactly are you adding as they are all ther now? Better quality or something?

I scanned in all the Task Force cards and made them available on here.  I am now working on the Base Set cards to make them available on here replacing the ones that already exist.  My scans are at 600dpi whereas the existing Base Set scans on here, not performed by me, are not.  This will hopefully result in images that are clearer, more legible, and easier on the eyes.  If not please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

To make things faster, you can scan 9 at a time and use photoshop's automate crop + straighten feature. It's in the file menu, I think. I used it for the hundreds of AAM cards.

Thanks Neural.  One of the main reasons this project has taken so long is I dread spending all that time for so few cards.  Of course in addition I'm spreading it out to give people a reason to come back to my blog.  But it is mainly the time issue.  I'll check out the feature when I do my next batch.  I don't think I can fit 9 on my scanner at a time but I should be able to bump it up to 6 at least.

I am in the process of updating the Allies to the good-quality ones provided by cwfgamecast. He will hopefully have the Axis ready sometime soon as well.

I am purposefully working on the remaining cards a little at a time.  I am aiming to tease them along so that the last ones are ready just before Flank Speed releases.

While that doesn't help here very much it does create a lot of repeat business on my blog, which is very good.  Have no fear, I didn't forget.

YES!  THANK YOU!  I very much use this all the time (too lazy to go read my own cards).

I use this a lot too, and the bigger cards make it far easier to read.  Much appreciated.

I have finished digitizing all the stat cards from the Base Set.  You can read about it at http://wargamingforums.com/2009/0...inished-and-flank-speed-releases/.

You can find all the Base Set stat cards at http://wargamingforums.com/2008/0...-task-force-picture-card-gallery/

You can find all the Task Force stat cards at http://wargamingforums.com/2008/0...-task-force-picture-card-gallery/

I will begin scanning the Flank Speed stat cards as soon as I have a complete set.  It releases on September 1st and I should have a complete set that day.  Unless it takes more than 2 cases to complete the set.

Aquarius could you please add the Axis from the Base Set to this thread for me?[/url]

Good to see you back, cwfgamecast.  Just earlier tonight I was wondering where you ever got off to.

Hehe thanks.  I stepped away to entangle myself with a bunch of wedding planning (counting down 8.5 months to go) and a new job.  With the new set coming out I should be more active.

Do the scans look ok?  They're all 600dpi and look fine to me on the web and in photoshop.  But, while I was scanning some of the Japanese cards they looked a little off.  Couldn't discern anything after the fact but want to make sure my eyes are not playing tricks on me.

I'm about 2.5 months out from my own wedding, so I feel you.
